Obituary
Yasue "Yas" Shimoda Russo, 88, of Woodlyn died on April 8, 2021. Born in Shimonoseki, Japan, the daughter of the late Junzo and Shizue Fukumoto Shimoda, she came to the United States in 1965 and lived in Washington D.C., before moving to Woodlyn.
Yas worked in the Crum Lynn and Prospect Park Wawa Stores as a clerk for 23 years and was a member of Our Lady of Peace R.C. Church.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Thomas F. Russo, her daughter Elizabeth C. Paquin, her grandson Anthony Paquin, her sister Yoko Yoshida, also nieces and nephews.
Funeral Mass 10:30 AM Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at Our Lady of Peace R.C. Church, 208 Milmont Ave., Milmont Park, PA 19033 where relatives and friends may call 9:30 to 10:15 AM. Entombment SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
