Wilma G. Slackway, of Swarthmore, a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister, died October 24, 2012 at Kindred Hospital.

Born in Philadelphia, Wilma was a lifelong resident of Swarthmore and lived at her late residence for 51 years.

She was a member of the Ridley YMCA, was an avid reader, enjoyed shopping and loved cats.
Wilma also attended Leiper Presbyterian Church.

She was wife of the late Charles E. Slackway, her husband of 40 years, who died in 1997, daughter of the late Harrison S. and Lillian Neiman Gilman and sister of the late Lillian Sheridan, Harrison S. Gilman, Jr. and Elda Rae Gilman.

Survivors: her children Patti Sioma (George), Susan Zoltowski (Michael), Karen McDermott (Jack) and Charles E. Slackway, Jr.; also her grandchildren Erin, John, Jr., Ryan, Paige, Michael, Charles, Lauren, Nicholas and Emily.

Funeral Service 10:00AM Monday, October 29, 2012 at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park. Visitation after 9AM.

A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, November 1, 2012 at Glenwood Memorial Gardens, 2321 West Chester Pike Broomall, PA 19008.
