William E. Wilson, 88, of Ridley Park died February 10, 2018 at his home. Born and raised in Yeadon, he was the son of the late Robert Gordon and Catherine Pedano Wilson and moved to his late residence in 1953.

William was a graduate of Yeadon High School and served in the US Army. He was employed as a Computer Operator for the Pennsylvania Railroad and was a member of the Church of St. Madeline. William was an avid model train collector and Phila. Sports fan. He loved the casinos, Big Band music and going to the seashore, but most important was his family. William was truly the rock of his family.

He was predeceased by his wife of 64 years, Joan M. Hartney Wilson, who died April 5, 2017; his son, William E. Wilson, Jr.; and his brother, Robert Wilson.

William is survived by his children, Christine M. Wilson, Barbara A. Wilson, Joan M. Wilson and Judith A. Wilson (Lulevitch); 16 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Funeral Liturgy: 11:00 AM Saturday, February 17th at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park, PA 19078, where relative and friends may call after 10:00 AM

Burial: SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery
