Obituary

William E. Towlson, 86, a longtime resident of Aston, died October 29, 2014 at his home.

Bill retired from the Pennsylvania Railroad after 40 years. He served in the US Navy during World War II aboard the USS Pollux. He received the World War II Victory Medal, American Theater, Asiatic-Pacific and China Service Medal, Japanese Occupation Medal and the Good Conduct Medal. Bill was a devoted member of The Church of St. Joseph in Aston for many years where he served as sacristan and Eucharistic Minister.

He was the loving husband of the late Catherine Adams Towlson; son of the late Harold P. and Bessie May Watson Towlson; brother of the late John Towlson, Janet May Towlson, Francis Muehsom; uncle of the late Jesse Woodall and brother-in-law of the late Helen Adams.

Survivors: nephew John Reese Woodall (Nancy) and family of Spring Hill, FL and niece Ann Marie Woodall and family of Essington and many friends.

Funeral Mass: 11 AM Saturday at The Church of St. Joseph, 3255 Concord Road, Aston, PA where friends may call 9:00 to 10:45 AM.
Burial: Immaculate Heart Cemetery
