William A. Snarr, 64 of West Grove, died August 9, 2012 at home.
Born in Philadelphia, he lived in Jennersville, before moving to his late residence 28 years ago.
Bill was employed as a printer at Congoleum Corporation for the past 46 years.
He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving during the Vietnam War and received the National Defense Service Medal.
Mr. Snarr was a member of the American Legion Post #926, Green Ridge, the American Legion Post #28, Millsboro, DE and a former member of Mount Hope U.M. Church. He attended Chester High School and loved swimming, being outdoors, the beach, the Philadelphia Eagles and life in general, but most important to him was his devotion to his wife and family.
Bill was son of the late Otis and Mary Rea Snarr and father of the late Billy Snarr (Michelle) who died January 12, 1994.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years Shirley A. Rhodes Snarr; his children Tina Paxson (Joe Shank), Laura Reinike (Jason) and Michael Snarr (Jessi); his grandchildren Elizabeth Paxson, Brienna Reinike, Isabella Snarr and Cory Reinike; also ten siblings.
