William J. Smyth, 87, of Milmont Park died on September 13, 2017.  Born in Philadelphia, he lived in Darby before moving to his late residence in 1959.

Mr. Smyth was a US Army veteran who served during the Korean War.  He was a member of Our Lady of Peace R.C. Church and was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.

He was husband of the late Eleanor J. Mayberry Smyth who died on November 19, 2014 after 60 years of marriage, son of the late Thomas and Elizabeth Peale Smyth and brother of the late Thomas and Edward Smyth.

He was father of Elaine M. Fidorowicz and William J. Smyth, Jr. (Patricia), Poppy to Nicole and Anthony Fidorowicz (Laura), Christopher, Amanda (Alex Smith) and Brandon Smyth, great-grandfather to Dominic St. Clair, brother of Richard Smyth (Barbara) and Elizabeth Morris (Robert).

Funeral Mass 10:30 AM Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at Our Lady of Peace R.C. Church, 208 Milmont Park, PA 19033 where friends may call 9:15 to 10:15 AM.
