William M. Shaw, 84 of Ridley Park died on March 30, 2022. Born in Philadelphia, the son of the late William D. and Helen Hill Shaw, he lived in Aldan before moving to Ridley Park in 1967.

William was a graduate of West Catholic High School, class of 1955 and received a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Temple University in 1961. He was a proud veteran of the US Army and was employed as an accountant for the City of Philadelphia for 30 years before retiring in 2000. After retirement he worked as a crossing guard for the Borough of Ridley Park Police Department. William was a member of The Church of St. Madeline where he was a lector and taught CCD, he also volunteered in the St. Madeline/St. Rose School Library. He was also a member of the Ridley Park Seniors and was an avid Philly Sports fan but most important was his faith and loving family.

William was the loving husband of 54 years to Susan M. Zielinski Shaw, the devoted father of Judith Clour (Randolph), William M. Shaw, Jr. (Kristen) and the late Stephen P. Shaw, grandfather of Christian (Allison), Katelyn Elizabeth (Justice) and Matthew, and brother of the late Margaret Seaman.

Funeral Mass 10:30 AM Monday, April 4, 2022 at The Church of St. Madeline, 400 Morton Avenue, Ridley Park where relatives and friends may call 9:15 to 10:15 AM. Burial Holy Cross Cemetery.
