William H. Scheivert, 80, lifelong resident of Aston died June 7, 2017 at his home surrounded by his family. He was a graduate of Media High School, class of 1954. William also graduated from the School District of Philadelphia with a certificate from Murrell Dobbins Vocational-Technical School as a cabinetmaker. He was employed by A & C Kitchens and Baths for over 40 years before retiring in 1997, and after retirement, he worked for ACTS Security Service at Lima Estates, until 2010.


William was a member of St. Francis de Sales R.C. Church, Lenni Athletic Club, and a life-long member of the Lenni Heights Fire Company. He loved baseball and was an avid Phillies fan. William enjoyed playing pool and shot in the Penn Del Pool League. He loved animals, especially his dog, Bonnie, but most important was his family.


William was predeceased by his parents, James H. and Ruth E. Farr Scheivert and his brother, James T. Scheivert, Sr.


Survivors: father of William B. Scheivert , father-in-law of Nadine Iacono Scheivert, who provided care for him; grandfather of Amanda, Ashley and Alyssa Scheivert; brother-in-law of Betty Scheivert; uncle of James T. Scheivert, Jr.; and great uncle of James and Nicholas Scheivert and he also had many cousins.


Funeral Mass: 11:00 AM, Thursday, June 15, 2017 at St. Francis de Sales R.C. Church, 33 New Road, Lenni, where friends may call from 9:45-10:45 AM.
