Obituary
William P. Mullen, 76 of Aston, died on July 9, 2013 at Taylor Hospice Residence.
Born in Chester, he was son of the late John "Jack" and Helen Shields Mullen.
He was a clerk at the Acme Market in Havertown and previously worked at Franks's Barber Shop in Brookhaven. Mr. Mullen also was owner/operator of Mullen Janitorial Service.
He was a graduate of Chester High School, class of 1954 and also the Tri-City Barber School. Bill was an avid bowler and played pool at Drexeline Billiards.
He enjoyed collecting seashells, casual photography and loved telling stories; but most important to him was spending time with his family.
Survivors: his children Patricia Slobodjian (George), William Mullen, Karen Roller (Steven) and Tracy Rentz (Mark); the love of his life Nancy; siblings Helen Moses, John Mullen and Kay Elliott; also grandchildren Billy, Jackie, Becky, Melissa, Rachel, Brent, Jessica and Shane; great grandchildren Ava and Austin.
Funeral Mass 11:00AM Monday, July 15, 2013 at St. Margaret Mary Alacoque R.C. Church, 500 Wanamaker Ave., Essington, PA 19029 where friends may call from 10:00 to 10:45AM. Burial SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery.
