William T. McCoach, II 78, a lifelong resident of Ridley Park, died on August 5, 2022.

He was employed as a Communications Technician for AT&T for 36 years, retiring in 2003.

Bill was a member of The Church of St. Madeline. He attended Elementary School there and was a graduate of St. James High School, class of 1962. Bill delivered flowers for Alfred's of Philadelphia to support his Wawa and golf habit in his retirement.  Bill enjoyed playing, coaching and umpiring softball. For years he kept a chair in the car "in case a game broke out".

He enjoyed fishing and vacationing at the Jersey Shore and game night with his family and friends. Bill was proud of his family and enjoyed attending his grandchildren's activities.

He was the son of the late William T. and Gladys Maus McCoach and brother of the late Judith A. Ferzetti (late Gerald) and Thomas McCoach.

Bill was the loving husband of Gail Tattersall McCoach, his wife of 53 years; devoted father of Karen M. Duppel (Jack), Kelly A. Wick (William) and Bill M. McCoach; brother of Joseph J. McCoach (Lorraine) and Patrick M. McCoach (Christine) and grandfather of Abigail Wick, Olivia Wick, John Duppel, Kaitlin Duppel and Jake McCoach.

Visitation 7-9 PM Wednesday, August 10, 2022 at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park and 10 to 10:45 AM Thursday, August 11, 2022 at The Church of St. Madeline, 400 Morton Ave., Ridley Park where a Funeral Mass will follow at 11 AM. Burial private.
