William C. "Ducky" Bryan, 77 of Essington died on April 3, 2024.  Born in Chester, the son of the late William and Mary Lavin Bryan, he lived in Norwood before moving to Essington 10 years ago.
Ducky was a graduate of Interboro High School, class of 1965 and was employed as a machinist at the Boeing Company.  He was an avid fan of the Philadelphia sports teams and Elvis, and also enjoyed listening to "Breakfast with the Beatles" and watching old movies.  Ducky loved attending his children and grandchildren's sporting events and spending time with this family was most important to him.
He was the loving husband of the late Anne E. Smilowski Bryan, devoted father of William C., Jr., Kimberly A., Daniel M., Joseph M. and Jason Bryan, grandfather of Samantha, Khalessi and Carter, great-grandfather of Dayton and Noah, he is also survived by his sister Mary Beth Grubb (George) and his nieces Leah and Laura Grubb.
Funeral Liturgy 11 AM Tuesday, April 16, 2024 at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park where a viewing will begin at 10 AM.  Burial will follow in SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
