Obituary

William M. Denny, 90, of Middletown Township, died November 21, 2013 at Riddle Memorial Hospital. Mr. Denny was born in Chester and resided there until moving to his late residence 54 years ago.

Mr. Denny was a U.S. Army Veteran who served during World War II. Bill was a 50 year member of Penn Lodge #709 F. & A.M. He was employed as an Instrument Mechanic at Sun Oil Company of 40 years, retiring in 1980. Bill enjoyed his home in Middletown Township, sports, music, and summers at the New Jersey Shore, but most important was his devotion to his family and friends.

He was predeceased by Myrtle Collins Imschweiler and Foster Collins.

Survivors: loving husband of 54 years to Alice Gilger Denny, devoted father of Susan Pyne (Bill) and Sally Brinkworth (Bing), grandfather of Lindsey and Andrew Brinkworth, dedicated brother of Ruth Spence (Wes), uncle of Donna Spence, Sherrie Barnes and Karen Cottrell.

Funeral Service: 1 PM Tuesday at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 3551 Concord Rd., Aston, where friends may call after 12 noon.

Burial: Lawn Croft Cemetery
