William Cooke, Jr. 52, of Woodlyn, died July 29, 2012 at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
Born in Philadelphia, he was son of the late William Cooke, and lived in Darby before moving to his late residence seven years ago.
Bill was a HVAC mechanic at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania for 26 years.
He attended Upper Darby High School and was a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 835.
Bill was an avid Eagles fan who loved camping and vacationing with his family.
Most important to him was his devotion to his family, especially the time he spent with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of nineteen years Patricia A. Bair Cooke; his daughter Jennifer Beaky (Greg); his mother Helen Painter Cooke; sister Donna Meehan (Hughie); grandchildren Liam Wallace and Connor Wallace; two nieces and one nephew.
Funeral Liturgy 11:00AM Saturday, August 4, 2012 at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park where friends may call after 9:00AM. Burial SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery.
