Obituary

Wanda S. Czarnecki Hasiuk, 94, of Ridley Park, died November 26, 2018 at Little Flower Manor. Born and raised in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Victoria Stankiewicz Czarnecki and moved to her late residence in 1958.

Wanda was "Rosie the Riveter" at the Philadelphia Naval Shipyard during WWII. She was a member of the Church of St. Madeline, the Ridley Park Seniors and was a volunteer at Taylor Hospital. Wanda loved to read and cook, especially "Golumpki Day" with the family. She loved to travel and saw many parts of the world. Wanda was dedicated to everything, but most important was her family.

She was predeceased by her husband of 56 years, Thomas M. Hasiuk, who died October 4, 1999; her sons, Ronald M. Hasiuk, who died in 1989 and Dennis R. Hasiuk, who died in 1999; her grandson, Ronald M. Hasiuk, Jr.; and her brother, Richard Czarnecki.

Wanda was the mother of Thomas J. Hasiuk (Vivian) and Donna M. Triggiani (Leonard Jr.); Baci to Donna Marie, Nina, Nicole, Angeline, Sarah, Deirdre and Danielle; also survived by 17 great grandchildren.

Funeral Mass: 10:00 AM Saturday, December 1, 2018 at Little Flower Manor, 1201 Springfield Road, Darby, PA 19023, where relatives and friends may call after 9:30 AM

Burial: SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery
