Vito J. Marchetti, 91, of Ridley Twp., died July 30, 2017 at his home, surrounded by family. Born in Chester, he was the son of the late Vito and Filomena Impagliazzo Marchetti and has resided at his late residence for 66 years.

Vito served in the US Navy during WWII and was a member of Our Lady of Peace R.C. Church. He was employed as a Typesetter at Charles Printing in Wilmington, DE for over 20 years and previously worked for the Daily Times.

Vito was predeceased by his wife of 63 years, Dorothy A. Knight Marchetti, who died in 2014.

He is survived by his children, Joseph T. Marchetti (Donna M.), Tim Marchetti, Kathryn Epps (Chris) and Dianne I. Marchetti-Suga (Frank); his siblings, Sammy Marchetti, Rocco Marchetti and Marcella Tweed; and his grandchildren, Julia Marchetti, Rachel Suga and Frank Suga.

Visitation: 7:00 to 9:00 PM Wednesday, August 2, 2017 and 9:15-10:15 AM Thursday, August 3, 2017 at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park, PA 19078
