Virginia D. Caponi Sturiale 90 of Ridley Park, formerly of 49 ^th Street in West Philadelphia, died on October 23, 2022.

Born in Philadelphia, she lived in West Philadelphia before moving to her late residence in1974.

She was an Administrative Assistant for Purex Corporation.

Virginia was a graduate of West Catholic High School for Girls, class of 1949.

Virginia dedicated her life to her family and her Catholic faith. Her love of Cooking began at the early age of ten, learning to make homemade pasta and her signature meatballs and "gravy." She was quick to engage people with her friendly and sweet personality, and always with a kind word. She will live in our hearts forever.

She was the sister of the late Nicholas Caponi and Gloria Myers.

Virginia was the loving wife of the late Joseph A. Sturiale, devoted mother of Joanne Kimpel (Charles) and Joseph W. Sturiale; and cherished grandmother of Michael Kimpel (Staci), Charles Kimpel (Kristie) and great-grandmother of Michael J. Kimpel.
