Obituary

Virginia "Ginny" Morris, 70 of Ridley Township, passed peacefully with courage and grace on Wednesday, August 19, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother whose constant love and support will be greatly missed.

Born in Drexel Hill, Ginny graduated from Ridley Township High School in 1963. She enjoyed bowling and was a part of the "Sunday Night Pennant" league for 41 yrs., where she spent 25 years as secretary. She will be affectionately remembered for her terrific sense of humor and her infectious laugh that somehow made everyone around her feel comfortable. But, what defined Ginny over the past 13 years of her life, was her grandchildren whom she thoroughly adored.

In addition to her beloved husband, George J. Morris, with whom she shared 49 years of marriage, Ginny is survived by her sons, Bill Morris and his wife Tracy, of Ridley Township, Brian Morris and his wife Jamie, also of Ridley Township, as well as her daughter Virginia "Ginny" Snow and her husband Steve, of West Chester; sister Ann Murphy and her husband Mike of West Chester; and brother Pat Bernard of Ridley Township. Ginny was blessed with six grandchildren, Conor, Matthew, Avery, Sydney, Brayden, Addison and one more due to arrive in October; three nieces, Kelli, Shannon, and Bridget as well as nephew, Mikey.
