Virginia "Ginny" Hoffman Jones, 73 of Woodlyn, died June 4, 2011 at Taylor Hospital.

Born in Narberth, PA, she lived in Springfield before moving to Woodlyn in 1959.

She last worked in the Accounts Receivable Department at Blue Cross, and formerly was employed at J.C. Penney's and The Wallingford Nursing Home.

Mrs. Jones was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church and a former member of St. Matthew Evangelical Lutheran Church where she was very active with many church organizations. She loved traveling, music and cooking but most important to her was time with her family. She was also a graduate of Springfield High School, Class of 1956.

Mrs. Jones was wife of the late William G. Jones, her husband of 32 years, who died on May 13, 1991, daughter of the late Conrad and Elizabeth Miller Hoffman and sister of the late Robert and Harry Hoffman and her twin Jane Hancock.

Survivors: sons David W. Jones and Daniel F. Jones, Mother-in-law of Marilee Jones, sisters Nancy Strack and Joyce Bruce. Also her grandchildren David, Jr., Allysa, Samuel, Matthew and Daniel Jones and her great-granddaughter Jaylynn Jones.

Resurrection Service 10:00AM Wednesday, June 8, 2011 at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 927 S. Providence Rd., Wallingford, PA 19086.

Visitation Tuesday 7 to 9PM at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park. Burial Edgewood Memorial Park.
