Virginia C. "Ginnie" Flood Gullifer, 86, formerly of Ridley Park and Glenolden, died June 17, 2012 at Fair Acres Geriatric Center.
Born in Philadelphia, she was a member of the Christ Church Episcopal. She formerly worked at the Ponderosa Restaurant and the Riddle Ale House. Ginnie loved dancing and the Wildwoods. She was a fun loving person who enjoyed being with family, friends and especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Ginnie was wife of the late Richard Gullifer, who died in 1973, daughter of the late George W. and Kathryn Becker Flood.
She is survived by her children; Carol A. Jones (Paul), Catherine Cole, Frances Broadbent (James) and Susan McGurk (late James), her brother William Flood, 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Funeral Service: 11:00AM Thursday at White–Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park.
Visitation: Thursday after 10:00 AM at the funeral home.
Burial: Arlington Cemetery.
