Virginia A. Getz (nee Williams), 96 a longtime resident of Eddystone died on April 13, 2025.  Born in Linwood, she was the daughter of the late William and Beatrice Hutchinson Williams.

Virginia was a graduate of Eddystone High School, class of 1946 and had previously been employed as a secretary at the Bell Telephone Company.   She was a member of Eddystone United Methodist Church where she served as Treasurer.  Virginia was a great cook but most important to her was her loving family, especially her grand and great-grandchildren.

She was the wife of the late Joseph G. Getz, mother of Sandra "Sandy" A. Lubberman (Lawrence "Larry" Smith), grandmother of Lisa Porter (Andrew) and Joseph Lubberman (Rachael), great-grandmother of Shay Porter, Sean Porter and Joseph Lubberman and she was the sister of Johh "Jack" Williams (Jane), Robert "Bob" Williams and the late William Williams, Thelma Smith, Ella Mae Venuti, Helen Aulisa and Ruth Williams.

Services and burial were held privately.
