Violet B. Tatasciore 85 a lifelong resident of Eddystone died May 5, 2015 at her home.
Born in Shamokin, she was daughter of the late Harry and Josephine Smudzin Holobowicz. Violet last was employed at Delaware County Community College.
She was a graduate of Eddystone High School, class of 1947. She was a member of St. Rose of Lima R.C. Church, the Sisters of Notre Dame and volunteered at Eddystone Elementary School Library.
Violet was the wife of the late Martin A, "Tootsie" Tatasciore, her husband of 54 years who died in 2004 and sister of the late Jeanette Landon, Marie Roma and Joseph Holobovich.
She is survived by her daughters Karen F. Singleton (Ted), Maureen L. Lyons, Mary E. Phillips (Tom) and her "favorite son" Martin A. Tatasciore, Jr. (Despo); her brother Harry Holobowicz; also 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Funeral Mass 10:00AM Saturday, May 9, 2015 at St. Rose of Lima R.C. Church, 1901 Chester Pike, Eddystone, PA 19022 where friends may call 8:45 to 9:45AM. Burial SS Peter and Paul Cemetery.
