Vincent J. Orio 91 of Milmont Park, died April 21, 2014 at The Wallingford.

Born in Chester, he lived in the Sun Village section of the city before moving to his late residence in 1961.

He was an Expeditor at Penn Ship Company (former Sun Ship Company) in Chester, retiring in 1987. Mr. Orio previously worked for Baldwin, Lima, Hamilton Locomotive. He was a U.S. Navy veteran, serving during WWII as a Gunner on Aircraft Carriers. He was a Phillies and Eagles fan, and enjoyed collecting Hess trucks and Franklin Mint collectable cars.

He was husband of the late Elizabeth Harris Orio, who died in 1971; father of the late Sharon Harrington; son of the late Maurizio and Maria Barbato Orio and brother of the late Victor M. "Mickey" Orio and Ruth Dolores McCracken.

Survivors: his children Deirdre L. Orio and David W. Orio; grandchildren Dawn Marie Householder and Doris Elizabeth Homitz; his great grandchildren Marissa Orio, Victoria Marie Householder, James Leroy Householder, III and Cara Lynn Homitz; also his siblings Angelina "Jenny" Orio, Thomas A. Orio and Maurice A. Orio.

Funeral Service 10:00AM Saturday at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park, PA. Visitation 7:30 to 9:00PM Friday and after 9:00AM Saturday. Burial Immaculate Heart Cemetery.
