Victor M. "Mickey" Orio, 86, of Eddystone died December 31, 2013 at Crozer-Keystone Hospice at Taylor. Born in Chester, son of the late Maurizio and Maria Barbato Orio, he had lived in Eddystone since 1977.
Mickey was a graduate of Chester High School, class of 1946. He was a salesman for E & S Auto for 44 years. Mickey loved dancing, playing sandlot baseball and was an avid Philadelphia sports fan. He was an exceptional bowler and had bowled a perfect score of 300 and went to national competitions for 25 years. Most important was time spent with his family.
He was brother of the late Ruth Dolores McCracken.
Survivors: brother of Angelina "Jenny" Orio, Vincent J. Orio, Thomas A. Orio and Maurice A. Orio, also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Mass: 10 AM Monday at St. Rose of Lima R.C. Church, 1901 Chester Pike, Eddystone
Visitation: 7 to 9 PM Sunday and 8:15 to 9:15 AM Monday at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park.
Burial: SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery
