Vera (Tomsky) Zubko, 99, died March 19, 2020 at her home in Wallingford, where she resided for the past 62 years. Born in Woodlyn, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Tekla Tomsky.

Vera was a graduate of Ridley Township High School, Class of 1939. She was a member of the National Honor Society and the First Baptist Church of Crum Lynne, where she taught Sunday School, was a Deaconess and played the piano since she was 11 (88 years). Vera loved to decorate cakes for birthdays and school activities. She enjoyed painting Russian Easter Eggs and cross-stitching. But most important to her was her family and her faith.

Vera was predeceased by her husband of 43 years, William Zubko; and her sisters, Nina Saedlo and Nada Gitaitis.

She is survived by her children, Robin Steinberger (Joseph) and William Zubko (Kirsten); her grandsons, Jay Steinberger and Will Steinberger; her sister, Mary Morson (Late Edward) and many nieces and nephews.
