Vera R. Hoven Lynn, 83, of Aston died September 2, 2016 at Riddle Memorial Hospital. Born and raised in Chester, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary R. Martin Hoven and moved to her late residence 61 years ago.

Vera was a graduate of St. Basil's Academy, class of 1950 and was employed as an Auditor in Medical Records at Crozer Chester Medical Center before retiring in 1997. She previously worked for Sandrose Trophies in Chester as a Bookkeeper. Vera was a member of the Church of St. Joseph and was devoted to her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Vera was predeceased by her husband of 32 years, James J. Lynn, who died Nov. 16, 1985 and her brother, John J. Hoven, who died Sept. 29, 2013

Survivors: mother of Deborah Ann Smith (Gavin); grandmother of Thomas Smith, Christopher Smith and Jennifer Bostwick (Jeffrey); great grandmother of Matthew and Aidan Bostwick; also her sister-in-law, Joan R.C. Lynn (late William J. Lynn)
