Valerie Jorgensen was born in Upland PA on January 8, 1960 and died in Wallingford, PA on June 3, 2025.  She was the daughter of Charles "Chick" Jorgensen and the late Roberta (Barnes) Jorgensen and her step-mother Margaret "Peggy" Jaskot of Cape May, NJ.

Valerie worked as a teacher for the HMS School for Children with Cerebral Palsy for 45 years.  She loved her students, as if they were her own.  Val was a 1978 graduate of Ridley High School.  Val resided in Prospect Park for the past 20 years.  She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Valerie is survived by her father Chick, her brother Carl (Bonnie) Jorgensen, and two nephews.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
