Thomas M. "Turtle" Hickey, 62, lifelong resident of Ridley Park died March 23, 2020 at Bryn Mawr Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Born in Upper Darby, he was the son of Helen M. Brownlee Hickey and the late Roy D. Hickey, Sr.

Turtle was a graduate of St. James High School, class of 1975 and was employed as a Letter Carrier for the US Postal Service for 36 years before retiring in 2011. He was a member of the Church of St. Madeline and the Ridley Park Fire Company. Turtle loved the Phillies, Eagles, Villanova Basketball and he enjoyed traveling and being with his family. His favorite time of the year was Christmas time because he was "Santa" for many years in Ridley Park.

Turtle was predeceased by his sisters, Dianne J. McCollum and Suzanne J. Sweeney.

He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Linda C. Creighton Hickey; his children, Thomas M. Hickey, Jr. and Lauren M. Hickey; his siblings, Roy D. Hickey, Jr. (Sherry), David J. Hickey (Shelly), Carol A. Fortunato (Michael) and Deborah H. Jasket (William).

A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
