Thomas F. Spitz, Jr.
Thomas F. Spitz, Jr., 75 a lifelong resident of Ridley Park died February 12, 2014 at Crozer-Chester Medical Center.
Mr. Spitz was a graduate of St. Madeline School and Ridley Park High School, class of 1957 and received a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from the Pennsylvania Military College in 1961. He was a US Army veteran who served during the Vietnam War and was a member of The Church of St. Madeline. Thomas was last employed as the Manager of Food Service at Taylor Hospital and also worked with the family business, Spitz Catering.
He was predeceased by his parents Thomas F. and Mary Dougherty Spitz and his brother The Honorable Gerald Spitz.
Survivors: father of Maria Spitz (Eric Fink) and Christine McLellan (Kevin), brother of Joseph Spitz and Gregory Spitz, also three grandsons, nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service: 1 PM Monday, February 16, 2015 at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park where friends may call after 12 noon.
Burial: Edgewood Memorial Park.
