Thomas J. Gundaker, 59, of Upper Chichester, died suddenly on October 25, 2013. Born in El Paso, TX, he has lived in the Chichester area for the past 35 years. Thomas served in the United States Army and the United States Navy during Vietnam. He was a console operator for Elwyn Institute and previously worked for Scott Paper.
Thomas was a sports fan of the Phillies and Eagles and was devoted to his family, but most important to him was his grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his parents, Edward and Anne Sweeney Gundaker and his brother Edward Gundaker.
Thomas is survived by his wife of 34 years, Denise L. Jamison Gundaker; his son, Matthew T. Gundaker (Alexandra); his two grandsons, Anthony and Jacob Gundaker; his mother-in-law, Marion Walls Jamison; his sister, Margaret A. Engler and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services and burial will be private.
