Thomas Edward Coppick, 65 of Ridley Park, died peacefully on Sunday afternoon, October 27, 2013, at Crozer Chester Medical Center, surrounded by family. He was a lifelong resident of Ridley Park.
He graduated from Ridley High School in 1966, attended Delaware County Community College and the Art Institute of Philadelphia. Tom was an entrepreneur who operated TNT Skypac, retiring in 1993. Thomas loved gardening, boating and the beach. He was an avid sports enthusiast, jewelry designer, antique collector and precious metals devotee. He left the world a more beautiful place for his timeless artistic creations and stained glass works.
Thomas was the happiest when at the beach and surrounded by family and friends. He will be remembered as a caring brother, loving husband, dedicated father and consummate family man with an abundance of life's passions.
He was predeceased by his parents, Dr. Sydney and Gladys W. Giles Coppick and his son, Ronny A. Hasiuk.
Thomas is survived by his wife of 25 years, Linda G. Christian; his children, Yvette W. Lindell (Peter), Rachel E. Rothenberger (Scott), Thomas S.J. Coppick (Misty), step-children; Deirdre C. Hasiuk (Conan), L. Danielle Hendrickson (Chris), and Gwen Marella (Brian); his brother, John C. Coppick; grandchildren, Jake, Isabel, Nora, Michael and Kacie; also numerous nieces, nephews and in-laws.
Celebration of Tom's Life: 8:00 PM Friday at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park, where friends may call after 7:00 PM.
