Thomas M. Coleman

Thomas Michael Coleman, known as “Tom” or “Tommy”, passed away on September 5th 2026. Born on November 26th, 1953 to Margaret Coleman and the late Thomas Coleman, Tommy was a beloved brother to eight younger siblings: Michael (Dolores), Mary, Mark (Susan), John, Daniel (Margie), Joseph (Ann), Owen, and Eva Matthews (Ernie). Tommy grew up in Holmes, Pennsylvania and began his education at Our Lady of Fatima grade school. He continued his studies at Cardinal O'Hara High School in the ninth grade and later graduated from Ridley High School in the class of 1971. Thomas then attended St. Joseph’s University, receiving a bachelor's degree in accounting in 1975. Tommy worked as a meat cutter at Acme Markets for 47 years, until his retirement in 2018.

Tommy enjoyed spending his weekends at Tom and Jerry’s with his family and friends, and summers at the Jersey shore. A lifelong Catholic, Thomas volunteered often at Our Lady of Peace, overseeing ushers, presenting the offertory, and singing in the choir. He will be dearly missed.

Please join us in a funeral service at 10:30 AM on Saturday, September 12th, 2026 and a viewing from 9 AM to 10:15 AM . Both events will be held at St. Thomas the Apostle Church.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the Father Rees fund at our Lady of Peace church in Milmont Park, Pennsylvania.
