Theresa G. McDermott Stanton 93, of Eddystone, died November 22, 2014 at The Wallingford. She was born in Tarrs Station and has lived at her late residence for over 65 years.

Theresa was a member of St. Rose of Lima R.C. Church where she was past president of both the Sodality and the Women's Club. She also was past president of the Eddytone Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary. For over 40 years she provided child care in her home.

She was wife of the late William R. Stanton, Sr. her husband of 45 years, who died in 1992 and mother of the late John Collins and Patricia A. Buccurel.

Theresa is survived by her son William R. Stanton, Jr. (Kim); her sister Bernice Kennedy; also 12 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Funeral Mass 10:00 AM Saturday, November 29, 2014 at St. Rose of Lima R.C. Church, Chester Pike and Simpson Ave., Eddystone where friends may call from 9:00 to 9:45AM. Burial SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery.
