Theresa A. Muhlberger (nee Brennan) 86, of Ridley Park, died Tuesday November 18, 2014.

Formerly of Germantown, she was the daughter of the late John F. and Katherine Delaney Brennan. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and a loyal friend.

Theresa enjoyed baking, scrapbooking, playing bridge, shopping, socializing with neighbors, but most of all spending time with her family.

Theresa was always the first one to volunteer her services to anyone in need. She was an active member of the Cultural Arts Forum at Neumann University and the Book Club at the Ridley Park Library. Theresa worked for many years at Thomas Hoyle Insurance Agency in Ridley Park until her retirement.

She is predeceased by her daughter Kathleen M. Furlong; granddaughter Jena Marie Furlong; brothers Thomas, John J., George J. Brennan: sisters Maryann Brennan and Sister Saint Johanna SSJ (Catherine Brennan).

Theresa is survived by her husband of 63 years, William F. Muhlberger; daughter Bethann Muhlberger Scanlan; sons-in-law Rick Scanlan and Tom Furlong; grandchildren Lindsi Muhlberger Scanlan, Shawn Thomas Furlong, Ashley Nicole Furlong, Johbrennan (JB) Scanlan and Maura Delaney Scanlan; niece Elizabeth Brennan Pachella; nephew Thomas J. Brennan and sister-in-law Florence Eichler.
