Obituary
Theresa F. Diehl Aronson (nee Kozumbo), 93, passed away peacefully on November 6, 2021. She was born on January 19, 1928 in Middleport, PA to the late John and Mary Mazar Kozumbo. After graduating from Chester High School in 1945 she married Russell Diehl with whom she raised four children in Aston, PA. Theresa was blessed to find love again with Stanley Aronson in September of 1995 who preceded her in death on March 6, 2005.
For many years, Theresa worked at the Franklin Mint, scheduling her hours so that she could ballroom dance at Redwood Club and attended Phillies games with her late partner Peter Yost. She was also a voracious reader, spending many lovely hours sitting in her backyard (she called her "park") reading until sunset.
Theresa was mother of Wayne R. Diehl, Michael D. Diehl, Christine F. Lee and the late Virginia M. Bak (Richard), she was sister of Violet Ciekawy, aunt of Diane Ciekawy (Bruce Owens), Thomas Troutman (Claudia) and Lynn Wunz (Charles), grandmother of Dawn Marie, Andria, Regina, Jennifer, Monica, Julie, Michelle and Michael, great-grandmother of Logan, Jason and Adelynn, and stepmother to Mark and Carol, all of whom she loved deeply.
Services and burial will be held privately.
