Theodore M. "Ted" Long, 77 of Lewes, DE died at this home on June 1, 2024.  Born in Chester, the son of the late Max and Emma Smith Long, he lived in Ridley Park before moving to Lewes in 2018.
Ted was a graduate of Chester High School, class of 1965 and was a decorated Vietman US Army Veteran.  Before his retirement, he worked as an Electrician at General Electric.  Ted was a member of VFW Post 777 in Crum Lynne and enjoyed fishing, boating and hunting, but most important was his family, especially his grand and great-grandchildren.
He was the loving husband of Arlene D. Hayes Long, father of Kellie Diamond (Gary) and Christine Fromal (Harry McCrossin), grandfather of Alexandra Yotter, Ryan Yotter, Brett Fromal, Gage Fromal and the late Gary W. Diamond, Jr., great-grandfather of Evan and Ella Yotter, and brother of Maxine Roberts (Bill) and brother-in-law of Barbara Nissell (Jim).
Funeral service 12 noon Monday, June 10, 2024 at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave, Ridley Park where relatives and friends may call after 11 AM.  Burial Fernwood Cemetery.
