Sylviane J. Capotrio (nee Johnston), 85 formerly of Darby died on March 17, 2024.  Sylviane was born in 1938 in Bordeaux, France, and was the daughter of the late William and Georgina Faure Johnston.

At the age 18, she met and married the love of her life, Michael Capotrio (Deceased). Over the next seven years she would give birth to three boys. William (Deborah), Phillip (Chris) and Michael (Jude) while living at military bases all over the world.

In 1966 the family would finally settle down in Darby, PA, where she became active with the Darby Little League ultimately becoming Vice President of the Women's Auxiliary. Sylviane was also a member of the Mt Zion United Methodist Church. Later she would begin working at the Darby McDonalds where she became the breakfast manager of the store. Many remembered for her strong French accent and warm smile as they were greeted at the counter.  She also loved her dogs and considered them as precious as her family. She will be remembered for her kindness, loving smile and care for all.

In addition to her sons, she is survived by her beloved grandchildren, Phillip, Lauren, Lisa, Michael, Courtney, and Michael, and six cherished great-grandchildren.   She was also sister of the late Francoise Ginn, Annie Johnston and Edouard Johnston.

Funeral Service 10:30 AM Tuesday, April 2, 2024 at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park where relatives and friends may call after 9:30 AM.  Burial will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Yeadon, PA
