Sylvia Jean Mills, 79, of Cape Coral, FL passed away peacefully on July 30, 2020 at Cape Coral Hospital.  Born in Allegheny County, PA, she was the daughter of the late Helen Kaczmarczyk Morlock and stepdaughter of the late James N. Morlock. Before moving to Cape Coral in 1998, she lived in Philadelphia, Glenolden, Boothwyn PA, and Plano, TX.

Sylvia was a graduate of Penn Joint High School in Claridge, PA, class of 1958. She was a Management Analyst at SEPTA before retiring after 20 eyars of service. In her retirement, Sylvia enjoyed being an entrepreneur and operating Paradise Home Watchers, LLC with her husband Fred.  As a member of The Red Hat Society, she loved donning red and purple attire, hosting luncheons, and staying active in her community. She particularly loved Christmas and all that came with the season - decorating, cooking, baking, family, and entertaining! She got great enjoyment from trying new recipes, crafting, shopping, and eating out at seafood restaurants.

She is preceded in death by her father, Frederick Reed; brother, Gary Morlock; granddaughter, Gabrielle Ellen Mills; and great granddaughter, Ashlee Sierra Larko.

Sylvia is survived by her husband of 41 years, Frederick A. Mills; sons, Theodore D. Mills (Candy), Charles T. Mills (Sherri), and Michael F. Mills (Julie); sister, Leah Zych (Edward);  nine grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. Sylvia is also survived by her lifelong friend, Sandra McDade, and her beloved Australian Shepard, Aussie Girl.
