Susan F. Hamson, 67, formerly of Milmont Park ended her fight with Alzheimer's surrounded by family on January 23, 2016 at Crozer Keystone Hospice at Taylor. Born in Ridley Park, she was a daughter of the late Mary Long (Flack) and beloved niece of William Flack ("Unkie").
Susan was a graduate of Interboro High School, class of 1967 and was last employed by the County of Delaware as an Office Manager for Juvenile Court for 15 years. She previously worked as a hairdresser for Dolores Hair Salon.
Susan was a member of St. Rose of Lima R.C. Church, loved spending days on the beach in North Wildwood, and was an avid Phillies fan. She was a devoted mother and grandmother and spent much of her time volunteering with school CYO and Ridley Township sports organizations for her children.
Susan was the loving wife of Robert F. Hamson; mother of Jeffrey Hamson (Theresa), Adrienne Niles (Brian) and Melissa Mullen (Scott); sister of Lucinda Scace and Barbara Sharpe; also survived by her grandchildren, Sarah, Emily, Joshua and Sarah.
Funeral Mass: 10:00 AM Friday, January 29, 2016 at St. Rose of Lima R.C. Church, 1901 Chester Pike, Eddystone, PA 19022.
Visitation: 7:00-9:00 PM Thursday, January 28, 2016 at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park, PA 19078 and 8:45-9:45 AM Friday at the church
Burial: SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery
