Obituary

Sue (Assunta) Prettyman, 94, of Ridley Park passed away on February 26, 2017 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Bucchianico, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Vincenzo Tatasciore, Jr. and Carmella Cavallo Tatasciore and resided in Eddystone before moving to her late residence 62 years ago.

Sue was a faithful member of the Church of St. Madeline and loved gardening, the beach, the Phillies and especially cooking Sunday dinners for her extended family.


Sue is predeceased by her husband, Joseph F. Prettyman Jr., her daughter, Lisa Torres, and her siblings, Anthony Tatasciore, Martin Tatasciore, Ann Boylan and Louise Bush.

Sue is survived by her children, Joseph F. Prettyman, III (Diane), John V. Prettyman (Vicky), Jay P. Prettyman (Veronica) and Marianne Achenbach (David); her son-in-law Robert Torres; nine grandchildren, one great granddaughter and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Mass 12Noon Saturday, March 4, 2017 at The Church of St. Madeline, 400 Morton Ave., Ridley Park.

Visitation Friday, March 3, 2017 from 6 to 8PM and Saturday 10:30 to 11:30AM at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park.
