Stephen "Steve" Zane, 67 of Media formerly of Drexel Hill passed away on February 6, 2016 at Fair Acres.

Born in Darby, Steve was raised in Colwyn and lived in Drexel Hill before moving to Fair Acres. He served in the U.S. Air Force Law Enforcement Specialist, stationed in Dover, DE and West Berlin, Germany. After earning an Honorable Discharge in 1976 from the Air Force, Steve went to work as a night guard at Germantown School for the Deaf. He obtained a paralegal certificate in 1986 then worked for law firms Schrom & Shaffer and Sacchetta & Baldino until he was forced to retire because of dementia. Steve was very involved in his church, Llanerch Presbyterian Church, which he joined in 1992 and where he served as both Deacon and Elder.

Steve is predeceased by his parents, William and Ruth Zane.

He is survived by his sisters Linda Shockley (John) and Betty Pulaski (late Joseph), brother William Zane and niece Joanne Pulaski. He is also survived by many cousins and their families.

Memorial Service and burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
