Stephen J. Tralie, 81, of the Briarcliff section of Glenolden, died December 2, 2010 at Crozer Chester Medical Center. Born in Philadelphia, he was son of the late Stephen and Anna Shamonis Tralie. Mr. Tralie has lived at his late residence for 57 years.


He was a wireman in the Switchgear Divison of General Electric in Southwest Philadelphia for 42 years retiring in 1989. He was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Church, he was a former member of the Braircliff Father and Son Club and was an avid golfer and loved going to the casinos.

Survivors: his wife of 59 years Catherine M. Fisher Tralie, his children Cathy Tinney of Springfield, Janet Steele of Aston, Stephen Tralie of Sugar Land, TX, Theresa Grenier of Ridley Park and John Tralie of Upper Dublin, his sister Dolores McElroy; he was also survived by 14 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.


Funeral Mass: 10 AM Tuesday at Our Lady of Fatima Church, Secane, PA


Visitation: 7 to 9 PM Monday and 8:15 to 9:15 AM Tuesday at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Avenue, Ridley Park


Burial: Saints Peter & Paul Cemetery.
