Stephen Petrovitch, 93 of Eddystone, died October 15, 2010 at Crozer Chester Medical Center.
Born in Coatesville, PA, he lived in Trainer before moving to his late residence in 1956. Mr. Petrovitch was a supervisor/welder for the Philadelphia Naval yard for thirty four years, retiring in 1971. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII and was a member of the American Legion Post #190 and the National Disabled American Veterans.
He was predeceased by his wife of forty six years, the former Elizabeth Pinner Petrovitch who died in 2007.
He is survived by his son, William Matthews (Patricia) of Newark, DE, sisters; Sonia Piana of Miami, FL and Marie Starn of Arlington, VA, three grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Mr. Petrovitch was brother of the late Joseph and Alexander Petrovitch, Anastasia Schloss and Helen Otto.
Funeral Service and burial were held on Friday.
