Stephen C. Lane, Sr., 75, of Folsom died March 13, 2017 at his home. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Christopher J. and Mary Barna Lane and resided in South Philadelphia and Upper Darby before moving to his late residence 27 years ago.

Steve attended South Philadelphia High School and served in the US Army. He owned and operated L&H Roofing for 25 years before retiring in 1992. Steve was a member of Our Lady of Peace R.C. Church, the American Legion Post #3 and the Scroll Saw Assoc. of the World. He was an avid woodworker and craftsman who was dedicated to teaching the craft to others for over 10 years. Steve enjoyed spending time at Rehoboth Beach with his family and friends taking pleasure in fishing, watching concerts at the band stand and wandering the boardwalk. He took delight in traveling, especially cruises.

Steve was predeceased by his brother, Walter Lane.

Survivors: loving husband of Rose Marie Pisani Lane, his wife of 43 years; father of Stephen C. Lane, Jr. (Teresa), Stacy Rowles (Fred), Natalie Van Hoorebeke (Kerrick), Rose Marie Liberatoscioli (Michael) and Stephanie Gober (William); and grandfather of Stephen C., III and Brent Lane, Caitlyn and Justin Rowles, Kerrick and Mackenzie Van Hoorebeke, Emily, Ella and Joey Liberatoscioli, Lauren and William Gober, Jr.

Funeral Mass: 10:30 AM Saturday, March 18, 2017 at Our Lady of Peace R.C. Church, 208 Milmont Ave., Milmont Park, PA 19033

Visitation: 7:00-9:00 PM Friday at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park, PA 19078 and 9:30-10:15 AM Saturday at church

Burial: St. Thomas the Apostle Cemetery
