Stella Wegrzyn Jurich, 91 of Aston died peacefully November 10, 2013, surrounded By her family.
Born in DuBois, PA, Stella was daughter of the late Joseph and Anna Grezlak Wegrzyn and lived in Chester prior to moving to Aston in 1945.
Stella was the founding secretary of AJ Jurich Inc and a founding member of The Church of St. Joseph in Aston. Stella chaired many functions throughout her years, such as past President of the St Joseph's Ladies' Guild, St James High School, Notre Dame High School, The Red Cross and other many activities, including celebrating Aston's 300TH Anniversary.
She was the loving wife of the late Albert Jurich who died in 2008, mother of the Late Albert "Jackie" and Dewey "Duke" and sister of the late Frank, Edward and Matthew Wegrzyn.
Survivors: children; Robert Jurich (Colleen), Janice Rossi (Charles) and Diana Chiappetta (Late Joseph), sister; Jennie Sydlowski, daughter-in-law Laura Jurich, also eleven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral Mass: 11 AM Friday, November 15, 2013 at The Church of St. Joseph, 3255 Concord Rd, Aston, PA 19014
VISITATION: 10 to 10:45 AM Friday at the church.
