Stelios "Steve" Karagianis, 86, of Brookhaven died on November 18, 2015 at Crozer Keystone Hospice at Taylor. Born in Vrondados, Chios, Greece, he was a son of Matheos S. and Maria Tsetseris Karagianis and resided in Chester prior to moving to his late residence 33 years ago.

Steve owned and operated the Elwyn Family Restaurant and previously owned and operated several other restaurants, retiring in 2009. He was a member of the St. George Greek Orthodox Church, the Chion Society, Agia Markella and a former cantor. Steve loved to read, cook and create new recipes and was an Eagles fan. He was devoted to his wife, children, grandchildren and his faith.

Steve was the loving husband of Angela "Angie" Nanos Karagianis, his wife of 60 years; devoted father of Matthew Karagianis (Debra), Maria G. Georgalas (George) and Georgia S. Karagianis; cherished Poppy and Pappou of Andrew (Analiese), Kevin (Pamela), Jennifer, Chloe, Addison, Logan and the late Markella G. Georgalas; also survived by one brother, Nick M. Karagianis; and nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service: 11:30 AM Monday, November 23, 2015 at St. George Greek Orthodox Church, 30 E. Forge Road, Media, PA 19063, where friends may call after 9:30 AM
