Stanley Robert Strauber, 93, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 10, 2015 in the Glen Mills Senior Center. Born in Brooklyn, NY, he was son of the late Milford and Ruth Strauber and resided in Norristown and Hillsboro, IL before moving to his late residence.

Stan proudly served in the U.S. Marines during WW II in Hawaii under General Douglas MacArthur. During his working years, he was a salesman for wholesale building materials. Stan was an avid golfer.

Stan married the Agnes Jagosh in 1946. After Agnes died, he married Vivienne Joy Moyer and together they celebrated 15 years of marriage. Joy's beloved daughter, Jeannette, provided loving care and support for the couple during their declining years.

Stan was predeceased by his wife Joy in May 2015 and his brother Ray Strauber.

Stan was the father of Robert S. Strauber (Patti); stepfather of Jeanette M. Moyer, Raymond J. (Patricia), Christopher J. (Catherine) and Neil F. (Mary Ann); brother of Norma York of Florida; brother-in-law of Bernice Strauber of New York; grandfather of Robert S. Strauber, Jr. (Sarah) and Christopher J. Strauber (Colleen); also survived by four great grandchildren, Alex, Bobbiejanne, Caroline and Ben.

Services and burial will be private.
