Sophie Milne

Sophie Milne (nee Kalenkowitz), 92 formerly of Aston, Gap and West Chester died on January 21, 2026. Born in Springfield, MA she was the daughter of the late Wassail and Mary Knevich Kalenkowitz.

Before her retirement, Sophie was employed as a teacher at the Benchmark School for over twenty-five years. Sophie was a member of Mount Hope United Methodist Church in Aston where she enjoyed spending time helping with church activities.  She also enjoyed gardening and going on walks.

She was the loving wife of the late Donald S. Milne, mother of Donald H. Milne (Karen), Richard W. Milne (Robin) and Kristian Milne and she was the grandmother of Rebecca Dawn, Aaren Amber and Heather Lynn Milne

Funeral Service 11 AM Friday, January 30, 2026 at Mount Hope U.M. Church, 4020 Concord Rd., Aston where relatives and friends may call 9:45 to 10:45 AM.  Burial will follow in the adjoining church cemetery.
