1916-2017

Sophie M. Rupnicki Locke, 101, a resident at Sterling Nursing and Rehabilitation died March 24, 2017. A longtime resident of Aston, she was daughter of the late Peter P. and Frances Luczowska Rupnicki. She has previously been employed as a secretary at DuPont. Sophie was a devoted mother who loved animals and cooking.

She was wife of the late Charles M. Locke who died February 15, 1970 and sister of the late Joseph Rupnicki, Walter Rupnicki, Victoria Profitt, Laura Neugebauer and Nellie Wakefield.

Sophie is survived by her daughter Linda Delia (Frank), sister Stella Warwick, grandchildren Andrew and Alyssa Delia, also many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service 10:30 AM Tuesday at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 3551 Concord Rd., Aston where friends may call after 9:30 AM. Burial Edgewood Memorial Park.
