Obituary
Sondra A. "Mimi" Hutchinson Meyers of Tamaqua, PA, Prospect Park, PA, and Arden, DE,
passed away at the age of 79 on November 16
th
, 2022, at the Sunrise at Granite Run in Media, PA, after a
courageous battle with dementia and the loss of her longtime companion Steve R. Bowman.
Sondra was born in San Diego, California to Clifton and Jeanne Hutchinson. She grew up in Tamaqua, PA, then spent 1.5 years in Japan with her family in her senior year of high school. Upon her return to the United States, Sondra graduated from Goldey-Beacom Business School. She then continued her education and became a paralegal while working at Fronefield and DeFuria law firm in Media, PA. Sondra was an avid reader and was a member of the Library Guild in Arden, DE as well as the Gardening Guild. She was also a major cat lover and enjoyed dining out with her many friends and family, but most important was time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by 2 daughters, Michelle Meyers (John Stephano), and Danielle Callihan (Ed Toto). She is also survived by her siblings, Karen Chew (Gene), Valerie Porreca (Henry) and Corey Hutchinson (Tish), her grandchildren, Josh Callihan (Lauren), Melanie Goslee, Cody Callihan and a great-grandchild, Erin Callihan, many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. She will be missed.

A memorial service is planned for a later date.
