Sidney Walton "Mike" Gale, 89, of Ridley Park died February 7, 2018 at his home. Born in Wilmington, DE, he was the son of the late Sidney Walton and Mary Helen Hobbs Gale and resided in Philadelphia before moving to his late residence 60 years ago.

Mike was employed by United Airlines as a Shop Keeper and was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church. He enjoyed going to his grandchildren's activities and was a Phila. Sports fan. Mike loved doing home improvement projects and wood crafts, but most important was his family.

He was predeceased by his wife of 43 years, Gloria I. Gale, who died October 1, 2001; and his sister, Mary "June" Hampton.

Mike was the father of Michael J. Gale (Jeanette), Susan Harper (John), Glenn A. Gale (Francine), Thomas S. Gale (Kelly) and Daniel K. Gale (Layne); also, survived by 13 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Funeral Service: 11:00 AM Tuesday, February 13th at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park, PA 19078, where relatives and friends may call after 10:00 AM
